I probably cried

felt like something in me died

emptiness within me where my heart should be

you took it

took my heart when you left me

that I do not believe

so just consider yourself lucky

now you have two hearts

and the one you took from me

it adored you with every vessel built in it

every artery pumped blood in me

so I could live daily

to give you all of me

my veins carried oxygen though my blood stream

so I could give my oxygen to you

I loved you more than I loved me

and of course that wasn't healthy

but it didn't stop me

i still loved you even when you didn't deserve that love

so keep my heart
