Let me live freely

with no cares for this world around me

escape so deep into reality

that it becomes fantasy

Ignorantly happy

negativity will be funny to me

and I would greet all the hate

with a smile

and it would be genuine

because I would be so in love

with self that problems would

be bliss to me

money would be nothing to me

I could walk bear feet

to the lake and it would be soothing for me

let me get away

in a mind of my own

in a new time zone

no phones

no Internet

no connection to the outside world

just God and I

my smile would never fade
