Money Rules Your LIves

They say money is the root of all evil. So why is it that we praise it so? I never been rich but I never been without and I'm not too quick to scream money money money, but now a days it seems money makes the world go round. One can argue that it's been this way, that our ancestors made this country to make money and although this is a questionable argument, the United States was built on the freedom of religion not money. Money determines the people we marry, the houses and neighborhoods we live, it even alters our attitudes. When are we going to go back to the days where we base our lives on equality and respect and success in others but they say its money power and respect. Meaning you get no respect if you not rich? I think this is where we will downfall as a country. We fuck over the next person for a dollar then expect others to have our backs in our time of need but needless to say people it does not work that way. I don't let money dictate my life and you shouldn't either and this is why I think I am a writer.
