Today I seen a rainbow, and it was beautiful. It reminded me of the promise God made with his children and for a slight moment it seemed like everything in life got a little bit better. Then the sun came out and the rainbow disappeared although, the rainbow disappeared; I still hold onto the fact that God is coming because he will never let down his children. I told my friend about the rainbow and he wasn't as excited as I was. See, I'm from New York and rainbows are rarely seen because of the smog, so when I see one it's always a Kodak moment, it's beauty at its finest. Yet, he didn't agree with me he didn't think the rainbow was beautiful at all. That's when I came up with the thought that beauty is truly in the eyes of the beholder. So next time someone tells you you're ugly or not kute enough just say okay and keep it going because to the next person you are beautiful. So instead of tripping I just said okay and wrote about the rainbow and this is why I think I am a writer!
